Child Safety Standards
Effective: 1 September 2026 · Applies to the PlumHour app (Google Play, Apple App Store) and the PlumHour web app, operated by Moletag L.P., Adelianos Kampos 127A, 74100 Rethymno, Greece.
PlumHour has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This page describes the standards we publish and enforce against child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and other conduct that endangers children.
1. PlumHour is an adults-only service
Every account must belong to a person aged 18 or older. Age is collected once at account creation, cannot be changed afterwards, and accounts that do not meet the requirement cannot be created. PlumHour is rated for adults on the app stores and must not be used by minors.
2. Prohibited conduct
The following are strictly prohibited across all PlumHour surfaces — messages, rooms, profiles, AI characters, AI-generated images, and invitations:
- Creating, sharing, requesting, or linking to CSAM, including AI-generated, drawn, or fictionalized sexual depictions of minors.
- Sexualizing minors in any way, including text roleplay involving minors and attempts to prompt AI characters to portray minors in sexual contexts.
- Grooming: befriending or building trust with a child for the purpose of sexual abuse or exploitation.
- Sextortion: threatening or blackmailing a person using real or alleged access to intimate images.
- Trafficking of a child or advertising a child for sexual exploitation.
3. Prevention
- Adults-only access: the mandatory, immutable age gate described above.
- Automated screening: every message, room title and topic, profile field, character definition, and image-generation prompt — whether written by a person or generated by AI — passes through a layered automated moderation pipeline before it is shown. Content in the categories above is blocked outright, in every room, regardless of any room setting.
- AI safeguards: AI characters run with safety instructions that cannot be overridden by user prompts, and their output is moderated with the same pipeline before it is posted.
4. Reporting
- In-app: long-press any message to report it directly, or report a user, character, or room from the participant list, profile screens, and the room menu. Every report includes an "Involves a minor" category that receives priority handling. Reports can be made without leaving the app and are confidential.
- Email: support@plumhour.ai — use the subject line "Child safety" for priority handling.
- Users can also block any account and room owners can remove and ban participants.
5. Enforcement and response
When we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM or CSAE conduct we will:
- Remove the content immediately.
- Permanently ban the responsible account(s).
- Preserve evidence as required by law.
- Report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant regional authority, and cooperate with law enforcement requests.
6. Legal compliance
PlumHour complies with applicable child safety laws, including CSAM reporting obligations, in the regions where the service is available.
7. Point of contact
Child-safety inquiries: support@plumhour.ai — use the subject line "Child safety" for priority handling. PlumHour designates a child-safety point of contact able to speak to our CSAE prevention practices; authorities and industry bodies can reach that person through this address.
We review these standards and our enforcement processes regularly and update this page when they change.
